Our story began with a simple desire: to build more inclusive and diverse organisations.
As a team of young women of colour who against formidable odds shattered the proverbial glass ceiling, we understand the barriers and enablers of inclusive organisations. After climbing to the top of our respective executive roles, we asked ourselves, “What now?”
We recognised that we cannot succeed when the majority of us are held back, therefore we committed to creating opportunities for women to reach their highest potential. We realised that when women support each other, incredible things happen. Consequently, we resolved to support organisations build diverse, gender-neutral and inclusive environments and founded – The Women Leadership Group.
